  J'ai trouvé l'accueil, la location, la qualité du service, la nourriture et le prix de cet hôtel excellent.

  En dehors d'un emplacement idéal , l'hotel ne correspond pas à un 3 étoiles , une rénovation s'impose ( fenêtres non étanches , salle de bain vieillottes ) petit déjeuner à revoir . rapport qualité prix très médiocre , assorti d'un acceuil à revoir également.

  Bonne situation mais trop rétro comme déco vue sur chantier pas terrible bcp de bruit(pb plancher)baie vitrée qui donne sur la rue trop trop sale la 1ere fois je n'avais pas reconnu l'entrée de l'hotel tellement cet endroit était négligé.au mème prix à chamonix j'ai logé ds des hotels bcp plus agréables ac petits dej de meilleure qualité:pas de fruits secs ni frais ,pas de choix de pain,miel et confiture pas de gammme.....

  L'acceuil à la réception etait glacial et puis le jour du départ meme pas un aurevoir domage domage....

  The only reason (but a very imortant reason to me) that i wouldnt recommend this hotel to a friend is because the sound insulation is extremely poor and i had very noisy neighbours above and next door keeping me awake every night well into the early hours. i would have been very happy were it not for the noise.

  Room was fab. for me, it's always a noise thing. hotel location was perfect but as i like to have the window open the noise from the street in the morning was ... noisy. if you sleep with the window shut, you'll only have to contend with the neighbours and creaky floorboards outside. but booking and hotel overall - excellent. i would definitely stay there again. beds and pillows were so comfortable and shower powerful too.

  I stayed at otehr hotels in chamonix and was able to compare them. the croix blanche was much better and has, furthermore an excellent restaurant

  C'est loin d'être un hötel ***, mais il est bien placé. heureusement que nous avions une réduction car autrement le prix n'est pas justifié. c'est un vieil hôtel qui mériterait une petite modernisation.

  Suggestion: mettre un rideau de douche devant la baignoire, et déplacer le distributeur de papier toilette trop près des wc.

  We would reccomend with caveats about the sound. we heard conversations in other rooms and many guests were coughing and it sounded like they were in our room. considering that we did this the day before we left, we were very hapy to get any room. the service of the manager was very welcoming and he provided many helpful suggestions about places to go and for dinner during our stay. perhaps other rooms in the hotel have better insulation, but the location was great, as were all the people who worked there, and great service can help overcome little discomforts.
